About the Company
Join one of Australia’s most recognised loyalty programs during a period of exciting digital and strategic transformation. Work within a customer-focused, Agile organisation, contributing to large-scale digital initiatives across the web and insurance product portfolios.
About the Role
We’re seeking a seasoned Business Analyst
with deep experience in web-based platforms and insurance products to support the delivery of digital solutions in a fast-paced Agile environment. Sitting across multiple squads, you’ll play a key role in shaping strategic initiatives, defining customer and business problems, and influencing the design and delivery of valuable features.
You’ll work closely with Product Owners, delivery teams, and a broad stakeholder network to translate business needs into actionable user stories — all while helping drive continuous improvement across the team and organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct strategic and solution analysis to shape business cases, roadmap features, and prioritise value.
- Partner with stakeholders to elicit, define, and document clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Lead workshops, facilitate story mapping, journey mapping, and define MVPs across digital product initiatives.
- Ensure quality delivery by collaborating with developers, testers, and designers in an Agile squad environment.
- Coach and mentor junior BAs, helping embed Agile best practices and uplift chapter capability.
- Support test planning, solution validation, and customer experience optimisation activities.
- Established experience as a Business Analyst in digital environments.
- Strong background in web-based platforms and insurance-related products or services.
- Demonstrated expertise in Agile delivery, user story writing, journey mapping, and backlog management.
- Advanced stakeholder management skills, including with senior business and technical teams.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and a range of BA techniques (e.g., MVP definition, scope modelling, process mapping).
- Agile certifications (Scrum Master, Product Owner, etc.).
- Exposure to UX/UI, A/B testing, or human-centred design.
- Ability to work across squads and tribes to mitigate delivery silos.
- Shape the delivery of key digital experiences across web and insurance platforms.
- Join a high-performing team within a nationally recognised brand.
- Flexible hybrid working in a collaborative, Agile environment.
- Initial 6-month day-rate contract, $800 - $900 inc, with strong potential for extension.
