What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to a Senior Manager who is establishing the function, you’ll be a key player in building a fit-for-purpose controls assurance capability.

Embed the newly implemented GRC platform and support CPS230 readiness.

Conduct design effectiveness reviews, operational effectiveness testing, and identify opportunities for efficiency and control improvements.

Support the first line through training, documentation, and standardising control procedures.

Collaborate closely with the 2LOD and senior leadership to provide assurance insights and actionable recommendations.

Promote a culture of accountability and risk hygiene, ensuring the first line owns their controls.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in financial services controls assurance, design, and operational effectiveness
- Experience in risk assessment, control implementation, process mapping, and operational effectiveness testing
- Excellent relationship management skills with an ability to deliver insights and feedback constructively.
- A proactive problem solver
