Front end React Developer

I'm working with a fast-growing fintech based in Sydney’s West that's building modern, user-friendly products that aim to improve the way Australians engage with their finances. With strong backing, an experienced leadership team, and a growing customer base, they’re looking to bring a Mid level Front End Developer on board for a 3 month contract to help drive their next phase of growth.

You'll join a collaborative, product-focused team working across a modern web stack. This role will suit someone who’s confident building performant, scalable front ends using React and TypeScript, and comfortable integrating with a .NET Core REST API back end.

• Agile delivery
• Figma (design handoff)

• Translating high-fidelity designs into performant, production-ready UI
• Building reusable and modular React components within a scalable architecture
• Integrating front-end features with RESTful endpoints built in .NET Core
• Collaborating closely with back-end engineers to ensure smooth data flow and API consumption
• Maintaining strong separation of concerns between presentation and business logic
• Improving performance, accessibility, and responsiveness across browsers/devices
• Participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and code reviews in an Agile team

• 3+ years’ experience as a front-end developer working with React
• Strong skills in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs — ideally built in .NET Core
• Understanding of asynchronous data handling (e.g., fetch, Axios, async/await)
• Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, or Context API)
• An eye for clean UI and a strong appreciation for user experience
• Bonus: experience with component libraries, testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress), or front-end performance tuning.
