- Manage the end-to-end claims process, including disability, death, and terminal illness claims
- Handle applications for insurance cover and underwriting assessments.
- Address complex insurance inquiries and provide clear direction to stakeholders.
- Contribute to improvements in procedures, products, and processes
- Prepare detailed recommendations and reports for senior management and committees.
- Perform administrative tasks, reconciliations, and system assurance checks.
We’re seeking a candidate with:
- Previous experience of insurance and claims administration, ideally from a superannuation background.
- Expertise in life and terminal illness claims processes, including definitions and investigation techniques.
- Advanced knowledge of superannuation and the ability to interpret legislation and trust deeds.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on empathy and active listening.
- Problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and numeracy.
