Join a leading insurance organisation as a Mulesoft Developer on a 12-month contract with strong potential to extend. You'll design, develop, and deliver enterprise-grade integration solutions within a modern AWS environment, working across complex systems and high-impact insurance applications.
What you'll do
- Design, build and maintain integrations using Mulesoft ESB and related tools (Studio, Cloudhub, Exchange, Runtime Manager, MUnit)
- Work closely with architects and developers to integrate systems and applications across multiple platforms
- Write production-quality, well-documented code for APIs, services, and data integration processes
- Support and troubleshoot integration issues, providing hands-on technical guidance
- Implement solutions following Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies
- Validate code quality via walkthroughs, reviews, and unit tests
- Collaborate with teams across AWS, Salesforce, and on-premise environments
- 10+ years in application design and development, with 7+ years Mulesoft ESB (MCD Lvl1 & MCIA Lvl1 certifications mandatory)
- Strong experience in API design and Microservices architecture
- Hands-on with SOAP, REST, JMS, FTP, RAML, JSON, XML, and CSV formats
- Knowledge of security patterns (SAML, OAuth, JWT)
- Solid experience with DB2/MSSQL, IBM MQ, Unix/Windows, Git/Bamboo, and Atlassian suite
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, AWS, and Salesforce integration (highly desirable)
- Demonstrated ability to work with both functional and non-functional requirements
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder engagement skills
