ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Scrum Master, you’ll play a key role in setting up and evolving the ways of working across delivery squads. You’ll coach and guide your team through Agile and Scrum practices, ensure clarity of process, and help drive outcomes that align with strategic priorities. Working closely with Product Owners, Delivery Managers, and senior stakeholders, you’ll create visibility, accountability, and flow. You may lead a single project or squad initially, with the potential to sit across multiple streams as the delivery model matures.
DUTIES
- Establish and continuously improve agile ways of working across squads, tailoring frameworks to fit the environment.
- Facilitate sprint ceremonies and ensure team discipline in backlog management, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Use Jira and Confluence to maintain transparency, track progress, and communicate delivery status effectively.
- Identify and remove blockers, manage risks, and proactively escalate or manage up where needed to ensure momentum.
- Partner with stakeholders to align priorities, manage dependencies, and build shared accountability for outcomes.
- Coach teams and individuals on Agile principles and foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and improvement.
You’ll bring solid experience as a Scrum Master, ideally within a complex, fast-paced environment. You’ll have a deep understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies, with proven success in establishing structure and driving delivery. Strong skills in Jira and Confluence are essential, along with the ability to proactively manage up, influence stakeholders, and build trust across diverse teams. A Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) will be highly regarded.
