Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you'll be a key player in managing a client portfolio, delivering high-quality tax and advisory services, and supporting the development of junior team members. What you'll do

• Manage and deliver advisory and tax accounting work across a diverse client base
• Provide strategic advice in areas such as estate and succession planning, profit improvement, group restructuring, and asset acquisitions/disposals
• Review and finalise financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, and FBT returns
• Supervise and mentor junior accountants, delegating and reviewing their work
• Build strong client relationships, acting as a proactive and trusted advisor
• Ensure deliverables, WIP, and debtor management align with firm protocols

• Business services experience within a Chartered Firm
• Strong technical skills in preparing financial statements and tax returns for companies, trusts, individuals, and SMSFs
• Direct client interaction and stakeholder management experience
• CA/CPA qualified (or near completion) with a Commerce/Accounting degree
• Experience reviewing work and supporting junior team members

• A passion for client service and building long-term relationships
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to self-review
