Join this esteemed Global Financial Services organisation in Melbourne, where you will play a pivotal role in the established specialist Corporate Actions team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the processing of corporate action events, dividend entitlements, new asset setups, and maintenance of existing assets and reconciliation for our esteemed clients. Your Responsibilities
- Perform daily reporting, reconciliations, and checklist completion.
- Process and manage all corporate action events, including income events (dividends, income, distributions).
- Establish control records for each corporate action.
- Set up new assets and maintain existing assets, ensuring accuracy for all reporting, timely pricing feed, and correct tax treatment.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective event monitoring and liaise with custodians and business partners.
- Actively manage the team risk profile by reviewing and enhancing controls, coaching team members on their understanding and purpose of controls, and reducing incidents.
- Ensure team compliance with IDPS and GS007 audit control standards.
- Drive procedure updates and reviews.
- Ensure adherence to Corporate Risk Policy, Standard Operating Procedures, relevant legislation, and regulatory requirements.
- Minimum 7 years' experience in Operations within Financial Services.
- Prior experience in a Corporate Actions and/or Pricing role.
- Good understanding of Corporate Action tax implications.
- Strong knowledge of Australian & International Financial Markets, Managed Funds, Listed/Unlisted Assets, and Custodial Structures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Logical and methodical approach to work.
