Senior Software Engineer

Full Stack Engineer (Go / AWS) – 6-12 Month Contract | Sydney | 2-3 days on-site per week.

I’m partnering with a well-funded cybersecurity start-up founded by proven, successful entrepreneurs who’ve already built and exited leading tech companies. They’re now tackling one of the toughest challenges in the industry — simplifying cloud security at scale — with cutting-edge architecture, serious backing, and a team of Tier One engineers from top-tier tech and SaaS backgrounds.

This is a chance to join them at a pivotal stage of growth — working hands-on with modern cloud infrastructure, writing production-grade Go, and shaping the foundation of a world-class platform.

As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll help design, build, and scale an intelligent cloud security product from the ground up. You’ll work across both backend (Go) and frontend (React/TypeScript), with a strong focus on AWS cloud infrastructure, microservices, and secure system design.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and scale backend services using Go (Golang)
• Work across a modern AWS stack (ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation/Terraform) ensuring resilience, scalability, and security
• Build and maintain React/TypeScript components for the front-end
• Design clean, efficient APIs (REST and gRPC)
• Manage infrastructure and deployment pipelines (CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Docker)
• Collaborate closely with product, data, and design teams in a highly autonomous, agile environment
• Identify and solve performance bottlenecks, ensuring a seamless experience for customers

• Strong backend engineering experience in Go (Golang)
• Deep experience with AWS services – ECS, Lambda, S3, CloudWatch, etc.
• Proficiency in React.js, TypeScript, and modern front-end architecture
• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, Docker, and CI/CD
• Familiarity with Postgres, NoSQL, and event-driven systems
• Bonus: Experience in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, or early-stage start-ups

• 6-12 month contract with the opportunity to transition to perm or continue extending
• Highly competitive daily rate 
• Must be Sydney based
