A leading global financial services organisation is looking for a Service Desk Support officer
to join its national team based in Perth. This is a hands-on, varied role that will see you supporting business applications, office hardware, and end users across multiple locations – with opportunities to grow and learn across the full IT spectrum.
About the Role
As part of the broader Australian IT team, you'll:
- Provide first-level support for helpdesk requests – troubleshoot, resolve or escalate as required
- Support key business applications and end-user systems
- Manage IT hardware including desktops, phones, printers, and other peripherals
- Create and manage user accounts (Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, and internal financial systems)
- Assist with equipment upgrades and maintaining the on-premise environment
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Attend global IT support meetings and provide on-site support to regional offices (some travel required)
- Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science or a related field (preferred)
- Previous experience in an IT support role – financial services industry experience is a plus
- Strong working knowledge of:
- Microsoft Server & Desktop Products
- Office 365, Azure, and SharePoint
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
